We are looking for: We are seeking a Business Development Intern to join our growth and strategy team. This role is ideal for someone interested in the business side of healthcare and gaining hands-on experience in physician recruitment, M&A, and strategic growth planning. You will work directly with Business Development team on research, analytics, and outreach efforts that drive organizational growth. Key Responsibilities: Source physician candidates using job boards and other tools; conduct cold outreach to set up calls and meetings. Learn and support physician pitch and value proposition conversations. Map markets to identify specialty needs and existing physicians. Track outreach activity and maintain candidate pipeline reports. Research potential practice acquisition targets. Assist with data gathering, financial review, and preparation of supporting materials. Help with outreach to practices and organizing meetings. Support special projects tied to expansion and market development. Gather market intelligence and competitor data. Assist with internal reporting and presentations for leadership. Some local travel within Greater Houston may be required for physician meetings or site visits. Mileage and related expenses are reimbursed. Requirements Pursuing / obtained a degree in business, healthcare administration, finance, or related field. Strong interest in healthcare business development and growth strategy. Comfortable with outreach and professional communication (phone and email).
Responsibilities
The Business Development Intern will support the Business Development team in sourcing physician candidates, conducting outreach, and assisting with market research. Responsibilities also include tracking outreach activities, preparing materials for practice acquisitions, and supporting special projects related to market development.
