As Business Development Intern, you’ll be at the intersection of growth and empathy.
You will support our Franchising & Development Director in two critical areas:
Scout International Opportunities with a Deep Understanding of Our Brand and Customers
Immerse yourself in the DNA of Miscusi: understand what makes us loved by customers and what sets us apart from others in the food landscape.
Analyze both Italian and International markets and evaluate fit with our value proposition, looking for growth opportunities that are aligned with who we are and what we believe.
Support the strategic scouting process by conducting research, gathering consumer insights, analyzing competitors, and identifying potential partners.
Collaborate closely with the Brand, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure market scouting is consistent with our customer promise and identity.
Bring the Voice of the Customer and the Restaurant into Our Growth Plans
Spend regular time in our restaurants, talking to customers and collecting qualitative insights.
Collaborate with restaurant teams to surface operational challenges, feedback, and innovation ideas.
Dive into our digital tools and tech stack (POS, feedback systems, kitchen data, etc.) to evaluate what’s working and what can be improved to enhance both customer experience and operational excellence.
Turn insights into actionable opportunities to improve the brand, the tech, and the restaurant experience — contributing to the continuous improvement of the Miscusi system.
What We’re Looking For
A strong communicator, fluent in both qualitative and quantitative analysis
A people-person with curiosity and empathy — you love asking questions, listening deeply, and connecting dots
A systems thinker who can simplify complexity and move from insights to action
Hands-on, proactive and comfortable spending time in the field (restaurants)
Analytical and tech-comfortable — able to dig into data and understand tools
Passionate about food, sustainability, and human-centered growth
