Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Engaged in business development by identifying opportunities and driving the sales of Baxter's Healthcare System & Technology product portfolio to health care providers embracing a solution-selling proposition Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition Acquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain business continuity Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics Responsible for achieving and exceeding the company’s sales targets/budgets of the allocated territories Understand and articulate in detail the functionalities/clinical benefits to patients and care givers of the products while offering an economic benefit to the hospital Be the local expert to the Commercial Leader, Sales Manager, distributors, and customers for assigned product lines Working closely with the regional Product Managers in improving product knowledge and competency of local team on specific products including product demonstrations, sales training support as well as Clinical Seminars/Symposium organization and execution Education & Experience: Degree in Nursing, Science, Pharmacy or equivalent preferable At least 8 years’ experience of managing hospital accounts and solutions selling in medical devices/equipment industry Strong knowledge of hospital procurement processes and healthcare decision-making dynamics. Proven experience in medical device sales (surgical equipment or capital equipment experience strongly preferred). Ability to manage territory/region with minimal supervision Demonstrated a track record of consistent performance delivering high quality sales effort and target achievement Ability to conduct CME and product training to HCPs Ability to manage different and additional portfolios Equal Employment Opportunity Baxter is an equal opportunity employer.
