REQUIREMENTS:

  • Typically, 7+ years of business development, marketing, or client management experience in the AEC industry
  • Deep knowledge of the Boise market and, ideally, strong industry relationships across the Rocky Mountain Region
  • Proven success in developing and closing AEC projects (public and private sector)
  • Experience mentoring technical staff and leading BD processes
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Development Lead to expand our presence across the Rocky Mountain region, with a focus on the Boise market. This role is ideal for a connector and problem-solver with deep roots in the AEC industry and a passion for developing clients, guiding teams, and leading firmwide BD strategy.

  • Lead business development initiatives across Idaho and the greater Rocky Mountain region
  • Focus on identifying, pursuing, and securing new opportunities in the Boise market and beyond
  • Build and maintain relationships with developers, municipalities, architects, engineers, and contractors
  • Collaborate with technical leaders to position the firm and respond to RFQs/RFPs
  • Coach and mentor internal team members on client engagement and pursuit strategy
  • Refine and implement BD processes, CRM use, and marketing coordination across offices
  • Represent the firm at conferences, networking events, and client meetings
