SUMMARY

In this role, you will identify, develop and build new business for eClerx Digital especially focusing on Retail sector, particularly brands and eCom organisations, focusing on key products and services which include Retail Analytics; Tech, Digital Shelf, Marketing, Content and Web Operations; Creative Services; Product Data Management; Pricing & Competitive Intelligence; Search Optimisation; Campaign Management, and Data Engineering.
Ultimately, the role will surface client-based needs and pain points and work in collaboration with our practice leads, solution leads, and our team of digital and consultants to deliver a meaningful improvement to the client’s business. We are seeking experienced and talented individuals with the knowledge, skills and ability to open doors and win new clients, and managing the entire sales cycle.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • It is critical that the successful candidate has strong understanding of key sponsors and their operations, challenges, pain areas, industry etc.
  • Strong track record of direct client-facing experience (minimum 7+ years) – Proven track record of consistently selling bespoke services, as well as demonstrable experience in consultative solution and enterprise platform selling
  • Experience of working in a services or platform environment specifically with retail and consumer organisations relevant to the role
  • High-volume multi-project environment experience with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong commercial acumen with strong negotiating skills and ability to manage a deal process from origination through to close
  • Proven track record of winning new business beyond the company’s existing client base, and track record of opening doors
  • Exposure to key legacy and industry-standard digital and advanced analytical techniques, platforms, solutions etc., and their applications.
  • Ability to also look beyond the data to develop a deep understanding of how our recommendations could impact business objectives
  • Excellent presentation / communication skills – written and verbal – comfort presenting and engaging at senior levels – implicit capabilities in MS Office Suite (Word / PowerPoint / Excel)
  • Ambitious and entrepreneurial, preferably with an extensive network of contacts
  • Organized and structured approach to selling and tracking progress (salesforce.com experience a plus)
  • Bachelor’s Degree or MBA (preferred)
  • Right to work in the NL
Responsibilities
  • Acquire new clients for eClerx Digital through outbound sales efforts using sales platform, targeted events and networking opportunities
  • Identify, establish and develop new relationships at different levels of seniority (executives, stakeholders, sponsors, influencers, end-users) in target industries and at target companies (existing and new clients), to drive new revenues selling a portfolio of advanced productized services and consulting engagements
  • Pitching ideas, storytelling around eClerx offerings to the client, and also thinking beyond traditional digital offerings in the market
  • Leverage and build your UK and European/ US industry network to identify new client and sales opportunities
  • Work closely with Retail stakeholders to scope, identify and provide initial project engagement opportunities, to develop new clients acquired into larger portfolios. These companies are mostly mid to large Fortune 500 clients who are based in the UK and continental Europe/ US.
  • Work on outreach strategies and collaborate with the Marketing team to raise eClerx’s brand awareness, network and business opportunities. Continuously improve the team’s strategic goals and set rules of engagement with new clients in different creative areas. Set revenue pipeline and provide directions to the client engagement unit on potential areas of growth and segment opportunities
  • Arrange high-level meetings with Sr. Manager/Director/VP level and above to strategically discuss eClerx services and products that are custom tailored to their specific needs. and provided via multiple levels of operations teams globally
  • Attend and participate in various conferences, summits that showcase the latest industry trends and client needs
  • Access and examine the current market, study and probe into new technology advancements that can help clients improve productivity and reduce cost
  • Bring skills and in-depth knowledge of the Retail sector to participate in conferences and seminars where through presentations and workshops he/she is able to help companies understand the benefits, advantages and services offered by eClerx
