In this position, you will lead the sales and business development strategy for our Measurement Solutions Lifecycle Services and Engineered Solutions portfolio in North America. You will drive growth, strengthen customer relationships, and champion innovation across key industries such as LNG, petrochemical, and sustainability. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will guide a talented diverse team and collaborate across global functions to deliver exceptional results and build strong relationships with key engineering and procurement companies (EPCs), Strategic Accounts and End Customers to achieve bold growth targets for a $75M+ portfolio. Our Engineered Solutions portfolio includes custody transfer/fiscal metering systems, analytical process gas systems, continuous emissions monitoring systems, liquid analysis systems, and sustainability solutions. Lifecycle Services cover digital engagements, annual recurring revenue contracts, upgrades, and “As a Service" business models In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Achieve business performance goals, including bookings targets for a $75M+ portfolio. Drive business development initiatives through demand creation and strategic engagement with key industry customers. Lead early technical engagement to ensure Emerson solutions are specified during Pre-FEED and FEED stages of capital projects. Provide strategic direction and technical/commercial guidance to pursuit teams for successful project execution. Develop strategies to grow revenue from the installed base, including recurring contracts, upgrades, digital engagement, and “as-a-service” models. Collaborate with internal partners such as Product Sales Channels, Project Pursuit Teams, and Strategic Account Leaders to enhance customer relationships and drive growth. Represent Emerson at technical societies, industry conferences, and trade shows to build brand visibility and strengthen market presence. Engage global Centers of Excellence to support proposals, project management, engineering, fabrication, and supply chain activities. Relevant strong experience in sales leadership and business development, including key account management and capital project pursuit within large, matrixed organizations commensurate with the level of this role. Experience with complex sales scenarios for multiple parties. Ability to travel domestically up to 50%. Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline. 8+ years of experience in sales leadership or business development with a focus on engineered solutions and lifecycle services. Experience with complex sales and EPC engagement. Advanced degree in Business or Engineering Management. Technical proficiency in engineered solutions and lifecycle services, including market and competitor knowledge. Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Familiarity with automation industry technologies, including instrumentation and control. Our Culture and Commitment to You: Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The total target comp range (base + target incentive bonus) for this position is $165,000 - $240,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
