In this role, you will create a positive impact on local communities by improving access to capital and/or guidance on best practice and resources for startup, emerging, or expanding small businesses located in Southwest Virginia and New River Valley. Top consideration for the ideal candidate include: * Strong public speaking and presentation skills * Enjoys community engagement, business networking and regional collaboration * Disciplined self-starter that is outgoing and has strong interpersonal skills * Critical thinker that appreciates challenge and finds meaning in being part of a solution * Ideally brings experience in lending, financial management, credit and small business development, or any combination thereof An undergraduate degree or higher in Business Management and/or similar degree is preferred and relative experience required.
