SUMMARY:

The Business Development Liaison serves as a key representative of the hospital network, responsible for establishing, nurturing, and maintaining relationships with referring providers, community organizations, and other healthcare entities. This role focuses on identifying growth opportunities, increasing referrals, enhancing service line awareness, and supporting strategic initiatives to expand the hospital’s market share.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with providers, hospitals, community entities, and other referral sources.
  • Promote and educate on hospital services, specialties, programs and access points to targeted external audiences. In person visits and meetings required.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the hospital and referring providers to ensure satisfaction and streamline referral processes.
  • Identify growth opportunities and support organizational strategic initiatives. Coordinate with internal teams to develop strategies that align with business development goals.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis, and supply market intelligence to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership and multiple internal departments to create effective business development plans, promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Coordinate and attend provider visits, meetings, events, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Track referral trends, provider feedback, and service utilization; prepare regular reports to leadership.
  • Act as main resource to referral sources for issue resolution. Resolve provider concerns promptly and escalate service issues appropriately.
  • Assist in onboarding new private practice providers to the network and ensure a smooth referral process.
