This opportunity resides with Uncrewed Systems (UxS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Uncrewed Systems comprises unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs), unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) and autonomy software.

We are seeking an accomplished Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Asia-Pacific region. This role will focus on expanding our customer base, building strong partnerships, and positioning our USV and UUV solutions to meet the evolving needs of government, defense, and commercial clients.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy across Asia-Pacific.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities in defense, security, commercial, and research sectors.
  • Build, strengthen, and maintain trusted relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends and provide strategic insights to inform business planning.
  • Running of an extensive in region representative network working on our behalf
  • Lead customer engagements, proposals, and negotiations in collaboration with global teams.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, exhibitions, and customer events.
  • Act as the regional voice of the customer, ensuring solutions are aligned with local needs.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING!!

Identifies and implements business development projects relating to new products and/or industries, technologies, or services. Identifies markets, licensing opportunities, and determines the feasibility of product development. Performs economic analyses on new or improved product opportunities and/or business models and coordinates with internal departments in identifying/implementing business development projects. May work with sales, marketing and potential customers to determine their needs. Develops and disseminates information on a continuous basis to all pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment of project goals and objectives.
