Kids Inc Afterschool services continue to expand nationwide.We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Connacht.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has at least 2 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the Education industry. (marketing, advertising, media, or events) and is passionate about growing a business.
As a key player you will have the opportunity to influence strategy, drive sales growth, and help shape the future of the company. You will be working closely with Director of Business and Communications on business strategy development, ensuring a collaborative approach to the company’s growth.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Childcare qualification and experience is desirable
  • Min. 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, advertising, media, or events industry.
  • A proven track record in business development and sales.
  • Solid understanding of sales strategies and the ability to engage effectively with clients.
  • A creative, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated, a strong self-starter, and capable of working independently, as well as collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to present to clients (schools), parents, and Directors.
  • A client-focused approach, always striving to deliver exceptional results and ensure client satisfaction.
  • A driven, goal-oriented individual who takes ownership with effective organisational and time management skills.
  • Personable and approachable, building strong relationships both internally and externally
  • Fluent Irish speaker is desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus strong interpersonal skills.
  • A full clean drivers license and own transport is essential

Responsibilities:

  • Identify leads, initiate outreach and manage follow up activities consistently with Primary Schools
  • Foster long term relationships with local primary schools and their stakeholders
  • Establishing Kids Inc Afterschool service within a Primary School
  • Presenting to BOM and other interested stakeholders
  • Delivering information evenings for parents
  • Development of brochure and tender material
  • Manage and expand an existing customer portfolio while actively pursuing new business.
  • Business Development & Sales Strategy: Implement business development strategies to drive new clients, increase revenue, and expand.
  • Client Relationship Management: Manage and nurture client relationships from the initial agreement through to delivery, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with existing teams.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed on market and competitor activities to develop competitive strategies.
  • Client Delivery: Oversee the successful execution of campaigns and events to ensure they meet or exceed client expectations and deliver outstanding results.
