REQUIREMENTS

  • Based in Dubai
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, preferably in tech services or SaaS
  • Wide network and excellent relationships across key Dubai sectors and government bodies
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously and launch initiatives from scratch
  • Experience hiring and managing business or support teams
  • Understanding of technology-driven service offerings (AI, DevOps, SaaS, custom platforms)
  • A UAE driving license is a must
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a strong plus)
Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly connected and socially agile Business Development Manager to lead our business development operations in Dubai. This individual will serve as the face of AB Ark in the UAE market, build strong local partnerships, and gradually establish a team on the ground. This role combines client acquisition with team leadership and requires a self-starter who is comfortable in fast-paced, high-impact environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Represent AB Ark at meetings, events, expos, and tech forums across Dubai and the wider UAE
  • Identify and engage with potential clients, ecosystem partners, and local business networks
  • Drive outreach for our AI services, including voice/chatbots, LLM-based tools, mobile/web platforms, Gaming, Unreal, and automation solutions
  • Convert enterprise leads and collaborate with internal tech and strategy teams for solution development
  • Deliver compelling presentations of AB Ark’s work to founders, innovation teams, and government clients
  • Map opportunities across target verticals like real estate, hospitality, finance, health, education, and mediaEstablish a local BD/support team and oversee hiring efforts as business grows
  • Ensure on-ground execution of proposals, onboarding, and relationship management
  • Regularly report market feedback and strategic insights to leadership
