As an experienced Business Development Manager, you will join our illustrious team and elevate our brand to new heights. Job Description Reporting to the Director of Sales, we are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is suitable for a vibrant sales professional who enjoys working across different market segments., What is the role all about: Responsible for securing new business and growing market share from existing accounts across our Corporate and Government segments . Implement a sales plan that includes both proactive and reactive initiatives to achieve business objectives and budgeted profits for the hotel Practively identify and capitalise on new business opportunities from both existing and new accounts. Promoting and selling the hotel's products and services, including conference and event spaces as well as food and beverage outlets. Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth Represent the property at conferences, tradeshows, networking events, familiarisations, sales missions and on-site inspections Prepare and present regular reports on sales activities and results to Director of Sales. Work closely with the Sales & Marketing teams to ensure processes and productivity are continually improved to reach and exceed sales targets Qualifications Exceptional skills in building and maintaining strong relationships with high-profile corporate clients. Advanced negotiation and closing abilities, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth. Proficient in strategic planning and executing business initiatives tailored to our esteemed hotel. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a polished and professional demeanor. Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and identify business opportunities. High degree of professionalism and a commitment to excellence. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic setting while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and represent the brand at industry events Experience in the hospitality/hotel/travel industry is high desirable.
