We are currently accepting applications for a Business Development Manager to join our Adrian Steel of Maryland team located in Baltimore, MD.

Some of the ways to be a successful Business Development Manager include:

  • Prospect and target end users in distributors market area
  • Collect pertinent information from end users for database (i.e. fleet size, buy cycle and decision maker)
  • Handle customers in a manner that ensures an exceptional customer experience.Connect, assess, provide solutions, and follow up.
  • Create and maintain relationships with trade associations
  • Work with dealers and fleet management companies to perform joint consultations with end users and create a customized experience from vehicle sale to upfit
  • Support the Commercial Sales Manager in creating and executing a strong sales plan
  • Ensure revenue targets are exceeded
  • Ensures compliance with Adrian policies and procedures

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Regular travel in an automobile for prolonged periods, approximately 1-2 hours
  • Standing, sitting, walking, carrying of items, reaching, handling, kneeling, crouching, bending, and moving vehicles.
  • Occasionally lifting objects approximately 25-50 pounds

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must meet and maintain all requirements to be a ?Driver? as defined in Adrian Steel Fleet Corporate Driving Policy
  • Valid driver?s license
  • Acceptable driving record (Adrian Steel authorized)
