Your Role
Join our dynamic EMEA Agriculture Industry team and play a key role in managing and developing relationships with customers in the agricultural sector. As Senior Business Manager Agriculture, you will be responsible for driving sales and business development, ensuring strong revenue growth across our portfolio of agricultural products and services. In this role, you will specifically focus on business development within the South region, covering Spain, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, Middle East and Africa. You will report directly to the Senior Director Agriculture EMEA.
Responsibilities

Driving Business Results

  • Manage and expand sales activities in your assigned region to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Take full accountability for achieving key business metrics (financial & other KPIs).
  • Develop and execute a Regional Business Development Plan.
  • Build and maintain a dynamic sales pipeline through proactive business development.

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and create new sales opportunities for both existing and potential customers.
  • Drive growth across all product categories (specialties, commodities, and blends) within the agricultural industry.
  • Implement proactive pricing and margin management strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and stakeholders, leveraging collaboration without direct authority.
  • Identify and recommend new product opportunities to enhance Brenntag’s agricultural portfolio.

Your Profile

Work Experience:

  • 4-5 years of sales experience in the agricultural industry.
  • Experience in an international work environment.

Personal Attributes:

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to build strong and influential business relationships.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with cultural sensitivity.
  • Analytical and strategic mindset, with a results-driven approach.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of taking ownership of business goals.
  • Strong team player with the ability to influence in a matrix structure.

Language Skills:

  • Fluent English (verbal & written) is essential.
  • Italian and Spanish language skills are highly welcomed.

Education

  • Degree in Agronomy or a related field.
