Description Business Development Manager Location: Atlanta, GA Company: AICA Orthopedics Position Impact AICA Orthopedics has built a 25-year reputation in the Atlanta personal injury legal community — deep institutional relationships and a multidisciplinary care model that PI attorneys trust. A significant portion of our established attorney portfolio represents untapped referral potential. This role exists to change that. We need a seasoned Business Development Manager to deeply expand volume with our active partners and systematically reactivate relationships within our existing book. You are not starting from scratch. You are inheriting a significant asset and are expected to unlock its full potential. What You'll Do Develop & Manage Professional Relationships: Inherit and expand a portfolio of established relationships with personal injury attorneys and legal partners across the Atlanta metro area — built over 25 years of presence in the market Deeply grow engagement with active accounts, becoming a trusted, indispensable partner to attorneys and their staff Systematically reactivate dormant accounts within the existing portfolio, converting inactive relationships into consistent referral partners Educate legal professionals on AICA's full care model and how it serves their clients through the treatment and recovery process Ensure clients referred through legal partners receive consistent, coordinated care and clear communication throughout their treatment journey Conduct regular account reviews and strategic planning conversations with key partners Monitor satisfaction and resolve service issues proactively Territory & Business Development: Leverage AICA's 25-year reputation and established presence in the Atlanta legal community to deepen existing partnerships and unlock dormant account potential Identify whitespace within the existing account portfolio and develop strategies to expand AICA's share of referral volume Deepen relationships within active accounts to expand awareness of AICA's full service offering Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to internal leadership Actively participate in legal community networking events and professional associations Service Excellence: Manage legal correspondence and patient documentation coordination efficiently and professionally Facilitate communication between legal partners and AICA's clinical and administrative teams Track partnership satisfaction and patient experience metrics Maintain high service quality standards across all accounts Qualifications Required - ONE of the following backgrounds: 5+ years in personal injury (legal, insurance, medical billing/collections, or case management) with strong relationship management skills 5+ years in business development or account management, with a track record of building and sustaining professional relationships Plus: Proven success managing a portfolio of professional accounts Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills Strong organizational skills and CRM experience (Salesforce preferred) Track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals Comfortable working independently in a field-based role Preferred: Existing relationships within the Atlanta legal or PI community Familiarity with personal injury case dynamics, settlement timelines, or medical liens Bachelor's degree Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus What Success Looks Like Demonstrably deepen engagement across active accounts within the first 90 days, with measurable growth in partnership activity Develop and execute a systematic reactivation plan for dormant accounts within the existing portfolio Become a recognized, trusted resource within the Atlanta PI legal community Maintain high treatment completion and satisfaction rates for patients referred through legal partners Consistently meet or exceed territory performance metrics Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $75,000 - $100,000, commensurate with experience Performance bonus structure tied to portfolio performance All compensation tied to measurable professional activities, fully compliant with Georgia healthcare regulations Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) PTO and paid holidays Professional development support About AICA Orthopedics AICA Orthopedics is Atlanta's premier integrated orthopedic provider specializing in comprehensive care for accident and injury victims.
