Key responsibilities/What you do Lead industry segment and top client strategy, business model validation (from proof of concept to industrializing/scaling). Active pipeline management & business development - provide direction, focus and guidance across sales and cross-functional teams within the relevant sector. Generate new business by identifying strategic targets & concrete opportunities. Manage and steer global client initiatives (cross LoB/cross BUs and Allianz OEs), joint business model and business case design, tender/RfI/RfP processes, negotiations, implementation & ramp-up. Build & accelerate strong opportunity funnel and actively drive best in class conversion, evolution and retention. Establish and maintain sound client relationships: drive a strong client experience that is pro-active, responsive, accountable, impactful, reliable, compliant and trustworthy. Push for continuous improvements: investigate, quantify and propose actions to evolve customer and client satisfaction, quality as well as internal and external efficiency gains. Maintain, extend or defend mandates by engaging key stakeholders, cross-functional and across multiple business units and Allianz Group OEs incl. e.g. Allianz Direct, AGCS, Allianz Trade and local flagship OEs. Key requirements/What you brin Senior experience in business to business (ideally B2B2C) strategic sales, strategic initiative or consulting experience (8-12 years); preferably within the Insurance or Financial Services industry Strategic design thinking (incl. new business approach, business model design & validation) General management understanding, capabilities (ideally incl. P&L experience) Senior leadership experience (line function and/or major business initiatives) Expertise in generating new top account acquisition/revenue and new business Active funnel management: prospecting activity/sales conversion ratio Manage the full sales cycle of large corporate accounts, with multi LoB product scope Lead complex tenders and negotiations, across multiple LoBs and Oes Resilient to: deadlines, multiple priorities/urgencies and navigating challenges Strong interpersonal, cross-cultural and stakeholder (all levels) management skills Strong ability to communicate confidently at all organisational levels and with clients Validate best practice models and define scalable blue prints Work effectively within a successful team, set priorities and drive decisions; Familiar with complex financial analysis as well as business model and business case design Experience in delivering professional presentations across hierarchies and functions utilising various media Key Benefits/What we offer Our employees play an integral part in our success as a business.
