Position: Type: Full-time - Hybrid (Office based on a Wednesday in Coventry)
Reports to: Head of Sales
Salary:£35,000-£40,000 DOE & uncapped commission structure
Department: SCCU Group Sales Pillar

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As our Apprenticeship Business Development Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation in workforce development. Your job? To drive growth, forge strong employer relationships, and champion apprenticeships as a game-changing solution to modern talent challenges.
You’ll be both hunter and strategist. Identifying new business opportunities, crafting winning proposals, and building partnerships that last.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute a bold strategy to grow apprenticeship partnerships across key industries.
  • Contribute to the Companies improvement strategy.
  • To introduce levy paying and other large employers to new services and opportunities that the SCCU Group has developed for them. Communicating these opportunities effectively via the correct medium to the relevant Stakeholders and Decision makers.
  • Consult with employers to understand skills gaps and recommend tailored apprenticeship solutions.
  • To work with the Senior Management Team to develop and implement the Companies Strategic Development plans within the SCCU Training sales pillar and across the group were required.
  • Develop and diversify the Companies Apprenticeship offer and develop, design and implement a portfolio of profitable and innovative customer oriented commercial programmes.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders from HR and L&D teams to C-suite execs.

  • Stay up to date with government funding, industry trends, and apprenticeship standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless onboarding and learner success.
