ABOUT YOU

With over five years of demonstrated successful sales, business development and/or key account manager experience, you will enter the role with a proven track record of achieving sales and growth goals. You will be experienced in field sales and be at ease with motivating, persuading and influencing decision makers, in order to build new business and maintain existing customers. You will have proven abilities in achieving results, demonstrate excellent presentation and communication skills and will be financially astute in your undertakings. Previous experience working with Residential Builders and Trade Distributors, would be preferred, but is not essential. We are looking for someone with the drive and determination to make their mark and stand out in our space.

Responsibilities

We currently have an opportunity for a motivated Business Development Manager – Residential Builders – SA/TAS to join our team based in Adelaide, South Australia.
Reporting to the National Residential Construction Sales Manager, your role will focus on building strong partnerships with our clients to help identify new business opportunities and grow market share throughout your defined territory and customer groups. The management of both the marketing and sales activities for your territory, with the goal of positioning ASSA ABLOY Australia as the business partner of choice for both residential builders and their trade partners, will be a key focus for this role. As required, there will be opportunities to educate our distributors’ sales staff on ASSA ABLOY products and programs.
