Description

The Opportunity

As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities across Australia, engaging with business leaders and IT decision-makers, and positioning Kloudify's solutions to solve real business challenges.

You'll work closely with our technical and solution specialists, giving you access to deep expertise while you focus on developing opportunities and driving revenue growth. This role offers significant earning potential through an attractive commission structure and the opportunity to represent a rapidly growing Microsoft-focused consultancy operating at the forefront of cloud, cyber security, and AI transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, generate, and qualify new business opportunities.
  • Build relationships with executives, business owners, and technology leaders.
  • Lead customer conversations around Microsoft 365, Azure, Copilot, Cyber Security, AI Governance, and AI Agent solutions.
  • Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle from initial engagement to close.
  • Work collaboratively with technical specialists to develop compelling customer solutions and proposals.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently achieve revenue targets.
  • Represent Kloudify at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
  • Utilise Dynamics 365 CRM to manage opportunities, forecasting, and reporting.

About You

You'll be an ambitious and commercially minded sales professional who enjoys the challenge of creating opportunities and converting them into long-term customer relationships.

We're looking for someone with:

  • 2+ years' experience in business development, sales, or account acquisition.
  • A proven ability to prospect and generate net new business opportunities.
  • Experience selling technology, software, cloud, managed services, cyber security, or related solutions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • The confidence to engage with senior business and technology decision-makers.
  • Excellent time management, organisation, and pipeline management skills.
  • A self-driven attitude with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
  • Sydney-based with the ability to engage customers across Australia.

While not essential, experience with Microsoft Cloud technologies, including Microsoft 365, Azure and Copilot, as well as Cyber Security, AI, automation or digital transformation solutions, will be highly regarded. Familiarity with Dynamics 365 CRM and Microsoft certifications such as MS-900 or AZ-900 would also be advantageous.
