Description
The Business Development/Account Manager is responsible for new market development and business capture of Avient products at targeted industry segments / customers, delivering profitable growth for the business. This position is responsible for prospecting, vetting and qualifying new business opportunities with targeted industries and customers, maximizing the value proposition and coordinating the follow-through needed to close new business as well as furthering profitability growth with existing customers. Accountability will center on margin and relationship building but will include prospecting, forecasting, achievement of sales objectives and directing activities across functional groups in support of account goals.
