POSITION SUMMARY:  The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth by combining technical expertise with customer-focused sales strategies. This role involves traveling to meet clients, understanding their needs, and recommending the most efficient Avtron Power Solutions while positioning the company in job specifications to meet industry standards. Additionally, the specialist contributes practical customer and field insights to support New Product Development (NPD) initiatives. Core responsibilities include maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of the company’s offerings, managing sales pipelines and performance metrics using CRM tools, maintaining accurate client databases, and fostering sector-specific sales growth. By blending technical knowledge with strategic sales acumen, this role is instrumental in driving customer satisfaction and achieving organizational objectives. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Essential Functions: •    Travel to meet clients – to determine most efficient Avtron Power Solution •    Position Avtron Power Solutions on Job Specifications •    Brings practical customer and field experience and knowledge to New Product Development (NPD) projects. •    Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our products and services, and how they can benefit our customers •    Manage and track sales and progress in customer relationship management software •    Tracking monthly, quarterly and annual performance and sales metrics •    Maintaining database (CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information •    Grow sector sales and understanding •    Live the Avtron mission, vision and values •    Any other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:    Education: •    College Degree (Engineering Preferred) or Commiserate Experience Skills •    A self-starting personality with a spirit of entrepreneurship •    Technical professional who is viewed as a thought leader •    Persuasive and goal-oriented •    Eager to expand company with new sales and clients •    Self-motivated and self-directed •    Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Experience •    Prior successful experience in helping Engineering and/or Commissioning firms solve problems •    Travel - 60% •    +7 years of documented success calling on engineering and commissioning firms
