About the Role
We are seeking a driven and relationship focused Business Development Manager to lead the growth of the referral partner network. This role is central to expanding the reach of life insurance solutions by developing, nurturing, and maximising relationships with external partners. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, creating strong referral pathways, and ensuring seamless collaboration between external partners and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, recruit, and negotiate agreements with new referral partners across targeted industries
  • Design and deliver tailored onboarding experiences for referral partners
  • Build and maintain long term, high value relationships to maximise performance
  • Provide partners with education, resources, and ongoing support to drive confidence in referring clients
  • Monitor referral performance, analyse data, and provide actionable insights to leadership
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client service and handover
  • Operate as the central liaison between the business and its referral partners

About You

  • A minimum of 3 + years’ experience within sales based roles, preferably within the insurance industry
  • Solid understanding of financial advice and life insurance (mortgage broking or accounting exposure advantageous)
  • An awarness of the general advice life insurance model.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a relationship first approach
  • Data driven mindset with the ability to provide strategic insights and develop a sales workflow.
  • Highly motivated, self starter who can work independently and deliver results
