Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE & KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

To secure new and repeat business with both SME’s and large levy paying organisations for both commercial and funded provision (apprenticeships). This is achieved through a process of organisational and training needs analysis resulting in a comprehensive training solution as well as securing transactional opportunities. This should be designed to meet the needs and skills gaps of the employer resulting in positive measurable impact. Where required, solutions can be comprised of government funded training, bespoke commercial training or a mixture of the two. The anticipated outcome of the above activity is to provide business growth in line with the Basegreen Academy Business Plan KPI’s.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To formulate and implement sales plan to secure new business for the Apprenticeship programme. Completion of due diligence requirements with employers for apprenticeship provision.
Generate new client accounts (SME’s and large employers) with the main offer of apprenticeship programmes and commercial qualifications. Identify opportunities to up sell where appropriate, including bespoke commercial training packages in line with the sales plan. Track activity and pipeline utilising CRM.
Work to engage in direct promotional activities, targeted at employers through direct and indirect sales processes to generate monthly commercial and apprenticeship starts set against an annual target. This includes visits, cold calling, utilisation of a range of digital media to generate awareness and interest in line with the marketing plan.
Work with senior management team to identify new markets and geographical areas.
Liaise as appropriate or directed, with specified outside agencies in order to maximise sales / appointment opportunities.
Attend internal / external meetings and contribute to the updating of relevant qualitative and quantitative datasets and documents.
When required, carry out Health & Safety pre – vets to ensure working environment is fit for purpose and risks are minimised.
Self-motivated, organised and possess the ability to manage own workload.
Operate with courtesy and integrity and never knowingly misrepresent the company or its products or act in a manner that may bring the company, its directors or employees into disrepute.
Maintain and update product knowledge and government initiatives the company has committed to promote and sell.
Any other duties commensurate with the post.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
