EIcom is an award-winning manufacturer and distributor of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) Anti-Static Products, based in Leicester, UK. We specialise in providing high-quality solutions to the electronics industry and are looking for a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team.
This role offers the exciting opportunity to spearhead our sales initiatives in the UK and potentially across Europe.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience, ideally within the electronics industry or similar technical sectors.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional telephone manner.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of prioritising tasks effectively.
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to coordinate with team members to achieve shared goals.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems to track customer interactions and manage pipelines.
  • A background in ESD/static control products is highly desirable but not essential (comprehensive training will be provided).

Responsibilities
  • New Business Development:
  • Identify and target potential customers to drive new business opportunities.
  • Conduct cold-calling and follow-up calls to generate leads and nurture prospects.
  • Actively promote EIcom’s product portfolio to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Account Management:
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Provide tailored solutions and recommendations to meet customer needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, offering technical support and advice where necessary (supported by technical pre-sales and product specialists).
  • Team Growth and Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal teams to share insights and coordinate efforts.
  • Support the development and expansion of the sales team as the business grows.
  • Sales Targets and Growth:
  • Consistently achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Drive revenue growth through effective account management and business development strategies.
