Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to drive sales and expand our product offerings. In this role, you will focus on cultivating new business while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. You will report directly to the director, providing regular updates on sales, client developments, and growth strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement growth strategies and plans, with clear metrics to evaluate success.
  • Manage relationships with existing clients to enhance retention and loyalty.
  • Identify and explore opportunities to increase the client base by targeting potential new clients.
  • Negotiate deals and draft compelling business proposals for stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and assess viable income streams.
  • Attend industry events and meetings to network and promote the company’s offerings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to fulfil prerequisites for vendor listings promptly.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for the Business Development Manager position, candidates should ideally possess:
- A minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar management role.
- Strong experience in customer relationship management.
- Solid understanding of industry trends and market dynamics.
- Exceptional negotiation and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Strong business acumen and ethical approach to decision-making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
