JOB SUMMARY

Our client are a market-leading supplier and manufacturer of plastic, insulation and rubber products to industry and supply a wide range of market sectors throughout the UK, Europe and worldwide. They are part of a progressive group of businesses that specialise in providing fluid power solutions to a wide range of industries.
They are currently recruiting for a Regional Business Development Manager to join the external sales team. This role would suit an ambitious Sales Engineer, Insides Sales or Existing Sales Manager / BDM, who can demonstrate a successful sales career to date.
Based in the Northeast, your role will be to develop existing customer relationships and seek out new opportunities, delivering growth for the business in the Northeast Region.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Display excellent health and safety awareness.
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
  • Show strong communication skills, decision-making, and time management.
  • Be extremely well organised with efficient time management and planning.
  • Have strong numerical and IT skills.
  • Display the ability to handle disputes and solve problems.
  • Have a willingness to learn.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Have CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience in engineering sales or similar.
  • Have a full, clean UK driving licence.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
