JOB OVERVIEW

As the Outdoor Lighting Business Development Manager at In-Lite distribution, you will be a critical driver of our growth in the outdoor lighting market. This role is designed for a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record and a well-established network within the outdoor lighting industry. You will primarily focus on the B2B market, cultivating relationships with distributors, landscapers, deck-scapers, irrigation specialists and key stakeholders.
Your mission will be to showcase and sell our outdoor lighting solutions, emphasizing the quality, aesthetics, and functionality of our products. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of B2B and distribution sales strategies, a talent for building and maintaining long-term client relationships, and a commitment to meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Your primary focus will be on driving sales growth, meeting targets, and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, delivering persuasive sales and product presentations. You also stay updated on industry trends and competitor products /activities. Additionally, you will act as a liaison between clients and our technical support team to ensure customer satisfaction.

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE:

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends, innovations, and advancements in outdoor lighting technology and design.
  • Provide in-depth product knowledge to clients, addressing technical specifications, installation requirements, and maintenance considerations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop materials and resources that support the sales process, such as demonstration tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an asset
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales strategies and distributor relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven.
  • Ability to travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Valid driver’s license.
