As part of our expansion plans, we are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team and play a key role in driving new business opportunities. We are seeking motivated, multilingual individuals who are results-driven and capable of bringing in high-quality leads.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in a business development environment, and Sales experience in B2B sales
  • Fluency in Multiple Languages: Proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish is highly preferred.
  • Strong Network: Must have an established network and business contacts within Ontario, particularly in the legal, business, or corporate sectors.
  • Car Ownership & Local Presence: Must have access to a car and live locally in Ontario with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the region.
  • Presentable & Professional: Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills to engage potential clients effectively.
  • Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented: Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and exceed sales targets.
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Base plus Commission Business Development Manager (BDM), you will be responsible for generating new business and client acquisition through a variety of channels. You will be expected to leverage your networking, marketing, and sales skills to drive growth and expand our client base, especially in markets where multilingual communication is a key advantage.
This is a Base plus Commission role, where your earnings will be tied to the business you bring in. The goal is to get multiple candidates in this role, but we are only looking for 2 exceptional performers who are capable of delivering measurable results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify New Business Opportunities: Reach out to potential clients, partners, and referral sources through cold calling, networking, and direct outreach.
  • Relationship Building: Build long-term relationships with clients and partners, ensuring consistent communication and follow-up.
  • Lead Generation & Sales: Generate high-quality leads and convert them into clients, achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Deliver Presentations & Pitches: Effectively communicate the firm’s legal services and the benefits of working with us.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to support lead generation and outreach campaigns.
  • Report on Progress: Provide regular updates on sales activities, client interactions, and business growth.
