Description

As our Business Development Manager, your mission is to secure contracts, develop winning proposals, build strong relationships within the government sector, and proactively commit to business development. If you’re an expert in navigating government procurement processes, identifying opportunities, and driving business growth this role is for you.
You will be a massive contributor to growing an Indigenous-owned startup specializing in government procurement across three key areas: technology (IT hardware, software, and cybersecurity), recruitment (staffing and temp help), and training. You must be similar in our passion to grow fast and scale large. You will be a core member of the team and compensated equally as the organization grows.
Responsibilities

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated success in government sales, bids, tenders, or procurement processes.
  • Strong understanding of federal, provincial, and municipal procurement practices, including RFPs and RFQs.
  • Experience in government industries like training, software, hardware, staffing, AI is a plus.
  • Exceptional writing skills to craft clear, compelling, and compliant proposals.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with competing priorities.
