Position: Business Development Manager
Company: Bedrock Business Systems
Location: Woking, Surrey – Full-time, In-person [some WFH opportunity]
Salary: £30K + 1.5% Commission, 1st Year OTE £55K
You have one clear goal – find new clients, build relationships and close deals. This means fostering and nurturing potential clients, converting them into leads. Once you’ve closed a client, you’ll manage their account, making sure they’re looked after to focus on lifetime value for repeat business. Organization is key.
This doesn’t mean there isn’t a greater complexity or diversity to the role. You’ll have a say and involvement in anything or everything, from the design of our website to the marketing strategy to the way orders are fulfilled. Constant improvement is crucial to growth, and as a team, we will strategize ways to improve, identifying weaknesses and coming up with new ideas.
Constantly increasing your knowledge and understanding of our products and services will be high on your priority list, especially in the early months. Primarily this accounts for solution-based research to offer our client the best product, i.e. what PC specification does the client need given their requirements and budget, and how would we build and procure these? We know a thing or two or three about this so don’t worry, we’ll help. Sometimes researching industry trends and competitors is required.
