Responsibilities

THE ROLE/CANDIDATE

We are looking for a well organised, self-motivated, enthusiastic individual with a desire to succeed and grow the business within our Southern Regions.
The sales-person will have responsibility for identifying and researching new potential customers, winning new contracts for the installation, service and maintenance of all industrial doors and loading bay products. In addition, the candidate will also be required to highlight other BID Group premium products.
The appointed sales - person will have the full support of the wider sales team and knowledgeable technical service team to hand.
The role will involve a mix of visiting customer sites, homeworking and working from regional offices.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Prospecting / Conduct outbound activities, including cold calling and emailing, to generate interest and identify new leads to grow sales pipeline.
  • Maintain communication with Prospects to ensure they progress through the sales pipeline, address any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Liaise with new and previous customers, setting up and attending meetings to identify opportunities.
  • Assist in selection of correct equipment design and/or application to maximise customer productivity and safety.
  • Prepare quotes and define orders with customers using accurate specifications and sizes for problem-free internal handling of orders.
  • Visit customer sites to carry out site surveys ensuring correct information gained and preparations made to allow trouble free installation.
  • Grow service contract unit base.
  • Working to set targets and KPI’s
    Experience within a similar industry would be preferrable. Crucially, you will be a dynamic, self-motivated and organised individual with a desire to succeed.
