(“BizLink Canada”), is located at 258 McBrine Drive, Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.
Due to continued above average growth, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our winning team. Located in Kitchener, our BDM will focus on our successful US markets. The BDM will grow sales of existing customers and develop systematic new initiatives to establish new customers. We have created comprehensive marketing support tools such as target market presentations, video clips, Google ads, case studies, newsletters, and online landing pages.

YOUR SKILLS:

  • Business Degree with technical background (we will provide extensive training)
  • 5-10 years proven sales experience in the field of technologically sophisticated products, ideally in the cable industry or connector systems.
  • Open minded entrepreneur and team player.
  • Willingness to travel, self-motivated and flexible.
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Target direction and success-oriented working methods
  • Proficiency in computer software (Gmail Suite, MS Office, Salesforce or other CRM

Responsibilities
  • Review sales territory and existing customers and create action plans that will be backed up by support team and management.
  • Familiar with digital marketing strategies, implementation and make recommendations.
  • Create new databases for business development (LinkedIn, Sales Force, Trade Show Directories etc.), and use targeted emails to implement direct marketing initiatives with follow up.
  • Solution oriented specialty applications sales.
  • Expand sales of existing clients and focus on acquiring large OEM customers.
  • Collaboration on sales planning as well as the implementation of the respective sales activities.
  • Participation in regional and nationwide trade fairs as well as conferences
  • Cooperation in the conception and development of new products in cross-site projects.
  • Collaboration with Sales Managers in North America and Europe.
