The Business Development Manager 2TL – Ireland (BDM) is responsible for representing the sales and customer interests of the Bosch Mobility Aftermarket organisation in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Job Description Role Summary BDM 2Tl Ireland is responsible for sales of the Bosch Mobility Aftermarket portfolio including concepts to 2Tl customers in Ireland working closely with the BDM 1Tl for Ireland. The role holder is expected to grow sales & market share of Bosch Mobility Aftermarket Automotive Parts, Diagnostics & Workshop Services (as per the MA Product & Service Portfolio) which supports our balanced distribution strategy. The job holder will be expected to contribute significantly to the overall delivery of the MA/SEN sales targets via both direct and indirect sales channels. In addition, the BDM 2Tl is expected to collaborate with colleagues throughout the business to achieve the overall MA/SEN business targets & objectives. Job Description – Main Responsibilities Driving Bosch sales through distribution partners by generating product pull through from workshops. Grow Bosch’s influence at the workshop level in Ireland. Grow market share with Bosch Diagnostics, ADAS and ESI and be able to demonstrate these solutions. Help drive understanding of Bosch digital solutions and services at workshop level in Ireland covering topics such as Remote Diagnostics Bosch Workshop Management Systems Connected Repair Workshop Order Manager eXtra Create demand for Bosch Automotive Training Services in Ireland at workshop level. Collaborate with team to grow Bosch Car Service partners. Develop Bosch Preferred Distribution Suppliers in Ireland in co-operation with the Bosch Business Development Manager 1Tl Development, growth, and compliance of the Bosch Car Service (BCS) Network Identify 'open areas', develop, and acquire target customers in region. Manage the appointment process for new Concept Workshops including Bosch Modules Manage the development of concept customers via the annual development plan process. Drive the conversion to the Bosch portfolio of products and services within Bosch Concept Customers via initiatives including Preferred Supplier Concept Enforce compliance in the areas of parts purchases, diagnostics, training, brand utilisation and programme initiatives within Bosch. Promoting Bosch automotive parts to independent garages, Fleets, Fast Fit, Retail and Specialists creating demand and pull through of our products, diagnostics, and workshop services. Targets/KPIs Overall Bosch MA sales & market share targets The sale of Bosch Parts, Diagnostics & Workshop services to workshops / installers Generating product pull through for Bosch Distribution partners. Generate sales & leads for Diagnostics and Workshop Services Support ESI market penetration target (50% IAM M/S) Identify potential BCS and support the growth of the network. Monitor & drive BCS product compliance and contract criteria incl. SQT, SQA & RPA Bosch eXtra sign ups & penetration Bosch Remote Diagnostic sign ups & penetration Increase the number of workshops & technicians participating in Bosch Training. Sign up of garages to Bosch modules concepts Qualifications Experience of the Irish Automotive Aftermarket Outline knowledge of Diagnostics Equipment Have experience of working in a remote location away from a head office Have broad knowledge of H&S requirements. Be IT literate in a variety of Microsoft programmes. Have awareness of Bosch internal structures and policy (desirable) Have knowledge of Bosch information and site related software systems (desirable) Ability to confidently take ownership of customer and stakeholder queries. Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with all members of Mobility Aftermarket as well as the wider Bosch network. To display, at all times, a customer oriented, service provider attitude and be a positive ambassador for the company Be determined, energetic and flexible. Effectively and timely work towards defined targets Must hold a full clean driving license. Be able to participate in events outside of normal working hours.
