As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be the key link between Westpac and our mortgage broker partners – ensuring that they understand and trust our value proposition and actively promote Westpac to their clients. You’ll work closely with a core group of active brokers whilst tapping into a broader opportunity pool across NSW, ultimately holding responsibility for broker NPS and settlement targets through the management and maintenance of these relationships.  * Manage and expand an active broker portfolio  * Develop strong broker relationships whilst providing policy and product education as well as coaching on loan structuring * Troubleshoot pipeline issues, assist in mobilising deals through the credit process and provide solutions / escalations for complex scenarios * Host and attend networking events including webinars, coffee clusters and development days * Create business plans, hold regular strategy catch-ups and maintain a rolling applications pipeline What do I need? * Experience in a Business Development Manager, Credit Assessor, Broker or Lender role  * Comfortable and flexible to attend / host networking events * The ability to work autonomously, manage a fast-paced pipeline and achieve set targets * Skilled in developing mutually beneficial relationships with external partners * Resilience, energy, enthusiasm, passion!
