QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have at least 7 years of business development experience in banking/fintech.
  • Results-driven mindset delivering new, high-potential partnerships.
  • A strong track record of consistently achieving/surpassing targeted KPIs, generating new deals and delivering on revenue and gross profit goals at a regional level.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced, results-driven sales environment.
  • You strategically analyze customer needs to deliver the proper solution and can identify the need for change and pivot to customize/design/drive solutions in sales strategy/approach when necessary.
  • You use different techniques to identify possible solutions and plan the next steps.
  • Communicate and influence effectively with proven experience successfully collaborating cross-functionally to execute deals.
  • You are a champion for the internal partner and develop strong relationships with key internal colleagues to ensure a proactive approach to closing deals.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail to track initiatives, projects, and deliverables.
  • Self-starter that aims for continuous improvement.
  • You operate with high ethics and integrity and are always committed to the organizational vision, values, and goals.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Ideally, you’re located in a major city in the US. You’ll need to travel.

Responsibilities

In this role you will lead our business development efforts and deliver revenue growth for Dandelion Payments in the Americas and leverage your deep experience selling enterprise solutions to banks, FIs, and fintech companies.

  • You will source and identify prospective clients (e.g., Internet research, industry publications, CRM-generated leads, LinkedIn, Networking, and Industry events (e.g., Money 202, SIBOS).
  • Conduct initial fact-finding with prospects to understand prospective clients’ existing cross-border payments business, identify their cross-border payment needs, and assess suitability to include in the sales pipeline.
  • Articulate and explain Dandelion’s unique value proposition through FABs (features, advantages and benefits) to decision-makers at prospective companies.
  • Maintain updated CRM and sales pipeline.
  • Stay abreast of market trends in the fast-evolving cross-border payments space.
  • Monthly and quarterly individual sales and business performance reporting.
  • Perform a timely and efficient handover of new clients to the delivery team.
