POSITION OVERVIEW

The Business Development Manager is a dynamic and results-driven sales professional responsible for driving growth and building strong relationships within the residential interior design trade. This role focuses on expanding market presence, nurturing existing accounts, and generating new business opportunities. As a key contributor, the Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in achieving sales targets and enhancing customer satisfaction. This position will cover various territories across the entire state of Florida.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow assigned territory by balancing time between existing accounts and prospecting new ones.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, positioning yourself as a trusted resource.
  • Conduct product knowledge training for various customer types.
  • Travel within the territory to identify growth opportunities and support underserved markets.
  • Ensure customers have updated sample books, sales materials, and pricing.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively.
  • Stay informed of competitive activities and market trends.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as call reports and expense reports in a timely manner.
  • All other duties as assigned
