About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to lead our referrals and partnerships strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our children’s residential and educational services. Location: Willenhall (with travel across the East Midlands, West Midlands & North West – Hybrid working) Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE Contract: Full-time, Permanent Tasks Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver a comprehensive business development and referrals strategy Build, strengthen, and manage relationships with local authorities, commissioners, and external partners Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the region Analyse market trends and referral data to inform strategic planning Represent the organisation at meetings, networking events, and sector forums Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure effective placement processes and service delivery Requirements Proven experience in business development, referrals, or placements within children’s social care or education Strong stakeholder relationship management and communication skills Solid understanding of local authority commissioning processes Proactive, professional, and passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive, values-driven team Please note: We are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
