Role: Business Development Manager
Location: Worthing area (with travel across the region up to 50% of the time)
Hours: Full-time
Pay: £28,000 per annum + Commission (OTE £40,000 – £45,000)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for two Business Development Managers to join one of our longstanding clients, a growing and dynamic organisation in the Brighton area. We are looking for candidates who are available to start as soon as possible.

THE REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle, with flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time when required
• Previous experience in sales or telesales is essential
• Proven ability to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) across different channels
• Professional manner with excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Flexible, adaptable, and a strong team player

• Proactively sell products and services to new clients and markets
• Re-sign existing customers approaching renewal and introduce new products
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets set by directors
• Identify and develop new business opportunities by understanding potential clients’ needs
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers
• Assess customer requirements and propose tailored product solutions
• Provide quotations, calculate savings, and follow up to secure deals
• Handle new customer requests professionally and promptly
• Maintain and update the customer database with accurate client information
