QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

✅ Experience: 3-5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in construction, fencing, or a related industry.
✅ Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with commercial projects, contracting processes, and bid management.
✅ Strong Communicator: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
✅ Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and proactively seek out new business opportunities.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to identify, develop, and secure new commercial clients. The ideal candidate has a strong background in B2B sales, understands the construction and fencing industry, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify & Pursue Opportunities: Proactively seek out new commercial clients, including general contractors, developers, municipalities, and property managers.
  • Build & Maintain Relationships: Develop long-term partnerships with key decision-makers to secure contracts and repeat business.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a strategic plan to drive sales growth in the commercial sector.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present competitive proposals, bids, and RFQs for large-scale fencing projects.
  • Market Research: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including project management and operations, to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
  • Meet & Exceed Targets: Consistently achieve sales goals and revenue objectives.
