Fast forward a decade - it’s no longer just John and Lucas eating sandwiches at the lunch table. Our school management ecosystem is now used in more than 5,000 schools across Australia and beyond. We’re joined by over 300+ members of the Compass team, delivering smart school management solutions around the world.
We’re seeking a Schools Business Development Manager to help us grow in NSW!

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone with a proven background selling to the education sector who truly understands the ins and outs of school operations.
In your role, you won’t just be selling; you’ll be consulting, guiding, and genuinely prioritising your schools’ needs. Your passion for your work shines through as you collaborate with a supportive sales team that encourages one another. With a results-driven approach and a growth mindset, you’re ready to make an impact!
Your ability to easily connect with people, lead and manage client opportunities and your fun, open & ‘team first’ attitude will serve you well in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Generate new business opportunities from both incoming leads and targeted outbound lead generation.
  • Learn, leverage and contribute to refining our lead generation process.
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team & Marketing teams to develop a regional sales strategy and execution plan.
  • Be responsible for reaching and exceeding quarterly targets for qualified leads, demos and customers signed.
  • Keep up to date on the Compass product and participate in regular training & informational sessions.
  • Support and attend local and national marketing events.
  • Collaborate with the Onboarding and Training Team to bring new Customers onto the Compass Platform quickly and efficiently.
  • Pipeline management including documenting, tracking and following up on all active opportunities
