They are seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to drive their growth and expand their client portfolio.
Founded during the pandemic, the company is going from strength to strength, opening a second office in that time, and looking to expand nationwide over the next few years. They’ve even won several industry awards for top-tier service, and the knowledge of the existing team will give any new staff member the leg up they need.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in business development within recruitment, ideally in the construction or industrial sectors.
  • A ful UK driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry clients, roles, and talent market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strategic and entrepreneurial approach.
  • A strong network within the construction industry is desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and targets simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with construction companies and contractors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and key industry stakeholders.
  • Present recruitment solutions and value propositions to prospective clients.
  • Understand client staffing requirements and advise on market trends and talent availability.
  • Build a robust pipeline of clients and candidates through networking, cold outreach, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with internal recruitment teams to ensure client needs are met effectively.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance visibility and relationships.
  • Contribute to marketing and promotional initiatives to position the agency as a leading recruitment partner within construction.
