What you’ll be doing
About the role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Dublin. You will be key in growing Corpays’ commercial presence by bringing in new business partners and revenue for Corpay, by successfully prospecting, selling and on-boarding new clients.
This is a fast paced industry where you will be speaking to business owners and C-level executives to learn more about their business and international payments needs, and ultimately, determining how Corpay can help do them more efficiently and cost-effectively. Your prospecting will pave the way for new business opportunities and will enable you to build and grow your sales skillsets, while positioning yourself as a thought leader within the organization.

  • The ability to sell yourself and speak with C Suite executives.

  • An interest in learning about global payments, sales enablement technology, CRM systems and FX hedging products.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify business opportunities by sourcing prospects and evaluating their FX needs.
  • Harvest sales channels within the sales region as per the Regionalised strategy and target markets. This activity includes, but is not limited to: Business Networking, Exhibitions, Specific sponsorship events, Telephone solicitation etc.
  • Selling Corpay solutions using a consultative approach and truly understanding client’s needs, presenting solutions based upon their needs and fully explaining our value proposition and online product portfolio.
  • Manage client onboarding processes while maintaining an exemplary customer experience.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • University educated or equivalent education.
  • An interest in foreign exchange and finance.
  • Proven Sales and analytical skills for successful business generation.
  • Previous outbound business-to-business phone marketing or sales experience would be desirable.
  • Ability to navigate corporate structures to identify decision makers and the ability to build rapports.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and focused, combined with effective organisational and time management skills.
  • Professional demeanour to prospective and current clients coupled with strong listening skills.
  • The ability to work as a team player towards a specific sales goal.
  • Attention to detail, particularly with respect to client information and payment data, plus strong mathematical skills.
