About the Role The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, expanding market presence, and strengthening client relationships within the industrial mechanical sector. This role drives revenue growth through strategic prospecting, contract negotiation, and alignment of sales efforts with operational capabilities. The BDM collaborates closely with project management, engineering, and executive leadership to ensure opportunities are realistic, competitive, and executable. This position also monitors market conditions, industry trends, and competitor activity to ensure the company remains well-positioned for sustained growth. This is a results-driven role requiring strong relationship management, strategic thinking, and consistent engagement with clients and industry partners. You know how to open doors, build trust, and close work that makes operational sense. You’re comfortable in front of clients, confident in negotiations, and disciplined about tracking performance.
