Job title: Business Development Manager - DACH Region Reporting to: Sales Manager Location: Homebased Germany About the role Here at BSI, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Regulatory Services – Medical Devices team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling BSI’s full portfolio of products and services to both new and existing customers across the DACH region. As a key member of our commercial team, you will identify and develop new sales opportunities by gaining a deep understanding of clients’ business needs and aligning them with BSI’s solutions. We are seeking a sales professional with a strong background in business development and excellent relationship-building skills. To support your success, we will provide comprehensive training to equip you with the knowledge required to operate effectively within the Medical Device Certification sector. As such, no previous industry knowledge is required for this role – if you have a proven B2B business development experience we’d love to hear from you. Responsibilities: Drive revenue growth by proposing and closing contracts for Medical Device Certification. Promote and position BSI’s full range of products, services, and solutions to key decision-makers within the Medical Device industry. Build and qualify a strong pipeline through proactive client engagement and relationship development. Develop and execute a territory plan aligned with short- and long-term sales goals. Deliver accurate sales forecasts to support efficient planning and business decision-making. Stay up to date on industry trends and continually refine your sales approach and product knowledge. Conduct in-person client meetings to achieve sales targets and strengthen relationships. To be successful in the role, you will: Proven experience in sales and business development within a B2B environment. Fluent in German language. A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent sales, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build executive-level relationships and understand customer business drivers, positioning BSI solutions to enhance their efficiency.
