We have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join our Aged Care division as a Business Development Manager. This permanent role reports to the Head of Channel & Key Customers – Healthcare. Your primary objective will be to collaborate with healthcare professionals and key aged care stakeholders to achieve targeted growth in the aged care sector by managing and enhancing customer engagement.
This role focuses on executing strategic initiatives that drive sustainable and profitable growth within aged care accounts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder needs. As a regional role, it requires travel and relationship-building with HCPs across various states in Australia. Candidates can be based in NSW, VIC, WA, or QLD.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Support the Development and Delivery of Strategic Category and Customer Initiatives: Align with customers for growth by supporting the development and delivery of strategic category and customer initiatives.
  • Manage Sales Performance: Oversee the delivery of sales performance across aged care customers in line with budget.
  • Onboard aged care sites to Nutricia products & services: Onboard sites to Nutricia products and services through education. Upskill sites in nutritional management of their residents through education on screening and condition management.
  • Promotional Claims and Payments: Manage promotional claims and payments in line with Danone’s process and compliance requirements.
  • Execute Category, Brand, and Channel Activity: Drive the execution of category, brand, and channel activity aligned with Danone’s business priorities and key account customer plans.
  • Commercial Thinking: Bring commercial thinking to the role, with the ability to identify and develop CODES behaviors personally and within the teams you work with

You are a dynamic and results-oriented professional with a robust background in sales and business development. Your expertise in medical nutrition and the aged care market, coupled with your strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, have consistently driven growth and innovation. You thrive in collaborative environments, working effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to achieve ambitious goals. Your ability to analyse data, understand customer needs, build strong relationships and expand product portfolios makes you an ideal candidate for this pivotal role.
