SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated ability to learn, achieve targets and deadlines, deal with high-level stakeholders, and grow a business
  • Experience in Sales/business development/account management preferred but not essential
  • Experience building customer relationships, managing difficult conversations, and challenging the status quo to drive growth
  • Exposure to both B2B and B2C sales would be an advantage, especially within consumer and construction goods, and/or experience with licensed/franchise business support
Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to work collaboratively with our existing customers to grow their businesses with a focus on expanding product share and delivering consultative support. By positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and with a rigorous sales process (which we support you in learning), you will challenge and support your customer base to profitably grow for the benefit of both parties. This role can be based out of our Keysborough or Kilsyth site.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Increasing share of wallet and spending with existing customers
  • Create and identify opportunities for our customers to grow and ensure a consistent pipeline of opportunities
  • Learn and practice the mobile showroom sales process to be able to confidently coach your customer’s Mobile Showroom Consultants (MSC’s)
  • Drive the MSC’s adoption and proficiency in the sales process, to increase their conversion rates, premium sales mix, and accessory sales
  • Leveraging relationships and market intelligence via networking and industry engagements
  • Provide leadership regarding all Safety & Sustainability activities and actively participate in safety-related training
