Description

We are looking for a skilled and driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain Management, Project Operations, and Human Resources practice. In this role, you will identify strategic opportunities, engage with decision-makers, and drive high-value enterprise engagements. Your deep understanding of D365 enterprise modules and strong client focus will help you build lasting partnerships and close impactful deals. You will collaborate with our consulting and delivery teams to position Itransition as a trusted advisor in business applications transformation, especially in complex, cross-functional ERP scenarios.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years in business development, solution sales, or account management in the IT consulting or enterprise software industry.
  • Demonstrated success in selling Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, SCM, Project Operations, or HR solutions, or similar mid-market to enterprise ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Deep understanding of business processes across finance, operations, procurement, warehousing, project management, and workforce management.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate value to CFOs, COOs, CHROs, and project sponsors.
  • Skilled in consultative selling, with a focus on aligning complex technical offerings with specific business challenges.
  • Familiarity with D365 implementation cycles, licensing, and Microsoft ecosystem positioning.
  • Comfortable navigating long sales cycles, RFPs, and cross-department stakeholder engagement.
  • Have experience in Retail industries in the UK
Responsibilities
  • ERP Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify and qualify opportunities for Finance & SCM, Project Operations, and HR implementations, migrations, or support engagements.
  • Client Discovery & Solution Mapping: Engage with clients to understand their financial, operational, and workforce management challenges, and propose tailored solutions within the D365 ecosystem.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Define and implement go-to-market strategies to penetrate target industries and geographies, working closely with Microsoft and internal stakeholders.
  • Proposal Leadership: Collaborate with functional and technical consultants to shape proposals, demos, and solution architectures aligned with customer priorities.
  • Partnership Development: Strengthen collaboration with Microsoft account teams and ISVs to generate leads and co-sell opportunities, ensuring alignment with Microsoft’s priorities (e.g., cloud migration, modern ERP adoption).
  • Market Intelligence: Stay current on product roadmap updates, licensing changes, and market trends in ERP, project delivery, and HR tech.
  • Pipeline Management: Own a robust pipeline, track progress through CRM systems, and provide accurate forecasting and reporting to leadership.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent the company at ERP-focused events, Microsoft industry days, and digital channels to boost visibility and credibility in the Dynamics 365 space.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with presales, delivery, marketing, and solution teams to ensure a cohesive and scalable sales approach.
