Having said that… OUR CORE VALUES WORK HARD & HAVE FUN DOING IT OWN IT FAITH FAMILIES FIRST GROWTH-DRIVEN MINDSET Role Description: We are looking to hire a full-time Business Development Specialist that will pursue and cultivate strong professional relationships with referral sources and trade partners by analyzing the market, identifying viable target clients, reaching decision-makers, and intensely focusing on turning leads into accounts and sales. Maintain ongoing relations with trade partners to encourage networking and repeat business. Summary of Responsibilities The Business Development Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and driving the performance of the Business Development Executive (BDE) team to generate revenue and expand market presence withing the restoration industry across our footprint. This role oversees the business development strategy, manages referral partner relationships, and ensures the team effectively converts leads into long-term accounts and sales. The Business Development Manager coaches and supports BDEs in cultivating strong, professional relationships with referral sources and trade partners, including insurance agents, adjusters, plumbers, property managers, and commercial organizations. This position is accountable for establishing performance standards, driving revenue growth, monitoring sales activity, and ensuring consistent execution of business development strategies across the markets. The Business Development Manager works closely with operations and leadership to ensure alignment between sales efforts, project delivery, and customer satisfaction while strengthening the company’s brand presence in the marketplace. Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience – Bachelor’s degree typically in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred. Experience selling to middle and senior level executives in the insurance, plumbing, HVAC and real estate industries as well as property managers and public institutions Three years’ experience in disaster restoration, construction, or environmental services is highly preferred. Technical Skills – Familiarity with Xactimate, Dash, Luxor, and Microsoft office is a plus. Relationship-based selling - Must be able to effectively build and develop relationships and demonstrate a positive brand awareness through all interactions Networking - Ability to deal with customers face to face while demonstrating good listening skills, poise, tact, and diplomacy Strategic Planning – Ability to create and execute sales strategies to increase market share and revenue. Self-Motivation – Proactive, organized, and capable of working independently. Communication Skills – Strong communication skills to work with internal departments to execute strategies and deliver clear and timely progress reports to senior management regarding KPIs and pipeline status. Strong persuasive writing skills to create customized proposals, contracts and business reports. Capability to deliver compelling, confident presentations to diverse audiences. Adaptability - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple competing tasks and demands Organization - Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail Must possess a valid and unrestricted driver license and have a satisfactory driving record.
