We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team in Evolusion Innovation, part of the Etex Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction or engineering industry, be familiar with the MMC/Offsite sector, and will have a proven track record in business development and sales. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, capable of driving growth and expanding our client base across our diverse range of services.

SKILLS:

  • Good general understanding of structural engineering, building performance, sustainability, and construction product development.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful business development strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other business development tools.

Responsibilities:

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on both MMC and traditional construction methods.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify potential clients and projects, build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and secure new business through effective sales and negotiation techniques.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities. Use this information to adjust strategies and stay ahead in the market.
  • Proposal Development: Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts in collaboration with the technical team.
  • Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services and expand our professional network.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and marketing, to ensure alignment and support the successful delivery of services to clients.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and report on business development activities, including lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growth. Use data to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
