DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role As the Business Development Manager, your responsibilities include: • Conduct regular market research to understand technology trends, customers’ strategies, and investment trends in order to identify business opportunities and develop sales strategies targeting potential customers. • Plan, develop, and oversee the overall business development strategy for selling key vendors to potential customers. • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing end-users, while expanding and developing new potential customers. • Work closely (direct-touch or high-touch) with end-users and focused partners from the early stages, including meeting setup and solution introduction/consultation, for pipeline creation through to opportunity closure. • Build strong relationships with industry professionals, competitors, vendors, alliances, etc., to understand market potential and capture new opportunities. • Collaborate closely with the Product Manager, Technical Team, Marketing Manager, and Channel Team to create, manage, and close sales opportunities. Key Measurements • Meet or exceed revenue and gross profit (GP) targets set by the Country Manager. • Maintain a healthy 3X–5X sales pipeline generated from exclusively developed business through solution selling and value plays. • Set up at least three (3) meetings per week with end-users to introduce solutions and/or POCs. • Execute at least one (1) marketing event each quarter. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you The ideal Business Development Manager: At least three (3) years of experience in Sales and Business Development within the IT industry, preferably with local systems integrators and covering SMB accounts/end customers. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field from a recognized university. Strong negotiation and presentation skills. A proactive problem solver. Experience working with resellers is an added advantage. Strong professional network with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly motivated, results-oriented, and resourceful, with a high level of initiative. Possess both hunting and farming mindsets; an extroverted personality. Hunting and farming mindset. Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager will conduct market research to identify trends and develop sales strategies targeting potential customers, while planning and overseeing the overall business development strategy for key vendors. Responsibilities also include building relationships with end-users and partners from initial contact through opportunity closure, and collaborating with internal teams to manage sales opportunities.
